What Does Self Care Mean to Me and How Do I Practice It?
Since I am a Reiki Teacher, self-care definitely is about Reiki self-treatments, and self-care is also SO much more too… 🙂
- Reiki self-treatments – a few times a day, always first thing in the morning, taking the time to release old trauma, wounds, and stagnant energy—allowing new and vibrant energy to come forth
- Stretches
- Walking down our country road, or in the hayfield (when there’s not 2 feet of snow), which also provides grounding for me
- Journaling
- Chiropractic
- Deep sleeps at night
- Quiet time
- Growing our own fruits, veggies, and beef
- Watching the sunrise
- Eating organic when possible
- Pets who provide comfort and laughter
- Movie night usually once a week
- Aromatherapy
- Laughter
- Doing what I love
