🍂❄️ Happy November to You All!! 🍂❄️

I hope this newsletter finds all of you enjoying the new season with warmth, joy, love, and peace. I’m sure you all can agree, October was a busy month! I feel like I have entered a new season in my life, and even though I know this…. even though I teach this…. the Universe still caught me a bit off-guard with the challenges I faced in the past few weeks! So as I am reminding you, I am reminding myself as well, as we heal, grow, and move forward in new ways, take time to examine your day, your week, your month. Look at how far you’ve come, count the ways you did great, and acknowledge the ways you may have missed the mark. Let November help you to expand in your strengths and improve in the ways you can do a bit better. I hope the things I chose to include in this newsletter will be tools to help you. Have a great November 💜
~Tracy

Daily and/or Weekly Questions to Ask Yourself in November 🤔

1) What good things did I see today?
2) What did I hear, or smell, or taste, or touch? Name them.
3) Who crossed my path today? What interactions did we have? Did I improve the interaction, or detract from it?
4) Where did I see the wonderful side of humanity?
5) What did I like about my day?

Relationships

As we heal, grow, and move higher and purer in our vibration, our relationships change. This tool is a great way to help examine your relationships. These concentric circles are a visual way to take inventory of your relationships and the health of them. (**reminder to my Reiki Master students, this is pages 16-18 of your Reiki Master Manual)

Part 1
The relationship with yourself is the most important.

  • Ask yourself this important question: How do I choose to see myself? Be loving and kind with yourself and choose to focus on those qualities you chose, as they are a part of you 💜
  • Envision who you might place in the inner circles, closest to you, perhaps family members and closest friends.

Part 2
Envision who you might put in the outer circles, perhaps work associates, neighbours, and/or extended family.

  • Begin thinking of someone in your inner circle and asking yourself questions, such as:
  • How are things in my relationship with this individual?
  • Is our relationship healthy?
  • Is there some work I need to do?
  • Spend as much time as needed in the inner circles and make your way though as many other names in the outer circles as possible.

Did You Know…?

The sacral chakra (the orange circle, #2 in the chart below) influences: emotional identity, creativity, pleasure, sexuality.

When it’s out of balance, you may feel physically – lower back pain, sciatica, pelvic pain, urinary or digestive problems, lowered immunity, fatigue, menstrual problems; emotionally – irritable, shy, controlling, lack of creativity, intimacy issue

Endearing to the Soul
Just Around The Corner, Pixel’s Happy Ending…

by Carly Bauer-Keller

My sister and I have worked at our local animal shelter for many years.  When you think of animal shelters, oftentimes it’s a sad thing – but behind the scenes there are so many moments of joy as well.  Here is one happy ending that was so special to all of us at the shelter:

Pixel is a senior cat who was surrendered to us when her owner could no longer take care of her.  She is very decided in her ways, and she can be a bit temperamental at times…. I know, all cats can be, but Pixel could give head-bunts one minute and nip your nose the next!  While with us at the shelter she eventually graduated to Office Manager because she preferred being on her own to being with other cats, and she was happy to keep all the pens organized, our papers warm, and enforce mandatory belly rubs every five minutes while we did paperwork (the risk was never knowing if her claws would be out or not!).  But a shelter is not a home, and sadly it took over a year, and three different homes, before her people arrived looking for a kitty just like her.  She warmed up to them immediately, and brought tears to our eyes at her warm reception of her new family.  At last she found a place where she was happy, appreciated for her sweet and feisty personality, and in fact she is once again a very competent office manager who is so proud of her new home and people who adore her.

Pixel’s story is a sweet reminder that sometimes it takes patience, making the best of things, and keeping hope alive – but our stories are not finished yet, and just maybe what is waiting around the corner is more beautiful than we can imagine.

Art—Healing, Using Other Parts of Our Brain, Relaxing—Wreaths

I hope you enjoyed the art links with watercolour in the last newsletter. If you didn’t get a chance to check it out, the links are there, I encourage you to do some art! Enjoy!

I recently did an art project, making a Fall wreath for my youngest daughter (who is 28). She picked out her favourites of artificial fall leaves, flowers, small little plastic pumpkins, acorns, and little do-dads, and I made it into a wreath she placed on her door.  (pictured above on the left)

My oldest daughter bought a wreath, and it’s full of lovely potpourri smells and dried herbs and such. It’s beautiful! (pictured above in the middle)

The roses and sunflowers wreath pictured above on the right, is one I made last year.  I saw a wedding bouquet with those two flowers in it, and loved the idea!  That’s the wreath I have on my door right now.

There’s just something about wreaths that makes you smile. Do you need to add a wreath to your life? Make one? Buy one? I highly recommend it!!

Here’s an idea I’d like to do for December….
